Working in county, state, federal and private agency capacities, owner-operator, Dawn Hegger-Nordblom, brings more than 15 years of experience as a senior Hawaii urban planner, government liaison, and community outreach officer.
Ms. Hegger-Nordblom became first interested in working in the urban planning field and natural resource field when tagging turtles on the big island during high school. This interest continued while attending the University of California, Irvine’s School of Social Ecology and conducting field work at Camp Pendleton. Based on a desire to parallel urban planning and regional planning and natural resource development Ms. Hegger-Nordblom attended the Masters Degree Program in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
